FoxxVault Update

FoxxVault Backer & Fans - Its come to our attention that not all of our backers and pre-order customers are following our updates in Backerkit or on our Facebook page. I thought I would take the time to let you know that we are making tremendous progress. A few milestones that might make your vehicle & keys get excited:

- We were contacted by Shark Tank to see if we are interested in potentially being on the show ... we'll see?  

- We now have more customers through BackerKit then we did on Kickstarter.  

- We are being evaluated as a solution for a large rental vehicle business. 

- We have OEM partnered with a leading 'Bluetooth Locking Technology' company for some of our Software "Guts".  

-. We have begun the integration with the TrackR STK for our location and BLE beaconing engine.  

- We continue to work through final design improvements based on testing of the mechnical lock override of the bluetooth enabled lock.

- There are a number agencies approvals we will need to complete once we have final electronics and hardware design.

Of course, we have had our inevitable start-up setbacks and production is always at risk until the "Foxx Hunts" so to speak - but we are still shooting for a Summer 2018 delivery date. I will keep you posted as we take the Foxx by the tail. Make it a FoxxFree Day,

Dear Backers -

Thanks again for all of your generous pledges, your pledge increases - and your trust in us here at FoxxVault to deliver on ALL of our campaign promises.  

Again, we have partnered with Backer Kit to help us with our post-project supply chain logistics. They seem to be a huge value-add to both backers and companies alike - and should help us make the fulfillment and communication process with you much more seamless.  

Nevertheless, we are reconciling all of the pledges as we speak, as well as troubleshooting a few of our backer's payments. We should be finished with all of this "fun stuff" by COB tomorrow. That said, we will be sending your pledge summary’s ASAP, as well as asking for some additional information, like; the name of the FoxxVault owner, ship to address, and special considerations for those of you who increased your pledge to $101.00 on the last day. BTW… It looks like I’ll be busy crafting some personal notes:-)

We’ve also had quite of few of you, especially the folks on the East Coast, ask how they could participate in our Final Backer Special - because they missed it the last hours of our Campaign. To be perfectly honest, we aren’t exactly sure how to do this… yet. But, believe you me, we will figure out a way if there is one.  

In the meantime, if you would be so kind as to send me a quick email letting me know that you are interested – just so we can set expectations with Keyport, Backer Kit, and other partners. [email protected] 

I hope this communique gives all of you a high comfort level with FoxxVault, as I know some Kickstarter companies have over promised and under delivered. Of course, we won’t be without our issues and hiccups along the way, but rest assured we will do everything we can, and probably even some things we shouldn’t, to make sure we rectify them as quickly as possible - and always be 100% transparent of where we stand.

FoxxVault Backers –  

Brett here…coming in hot!  

Well, here we are at the end of what has been some pretty crazy days… wonderfully crazy!  

Although we all still have our fingers crossed, unfortunately, it doesn’t look like we are going to hit our stretch of $125K.  Or are we? 

We’ve had the best couple of days of the campaign, both in terms of backing and feedback. So, perhaps our goal was a bit lofty? Having said that, I know that a lot of you want to give FoxxVault as a gift - and would love to have something more than just Fuzzy Foxx Balls to put under the tree. 

So, in the spirit of never giving up, the holidays, and to try and accommodate you gift givers – if you increase your existing pledge by $101.00 you will get the following:

• 1 FoxxVault 
• 1 FoxxBloc 
• 1 FoxxLid (Logo Hat)
• *1 Engravable metal customizable vanity insert (holds onto the front of the FoxxVault with very strong neodymium iron boron magnets) 
• 1 FoxxVault Logo Keyport with two years of ID Service included 
• *These are brand new and really cool 

And for those who have already increased their pledge over the last couple of days with a $99.00 or $190.00 pledge, if you increase it this one last time we will also include these items for all of your FoxxVault’s – including your original FoxxVaults. 

In addition, I will also send a personal note to whomever you want, and say anything you want if you put it in an email. Well… almost anything. LOL 

So, who knows? There are over 400 FoxxVault backers. If everyone takes me up on this, not only will I have some very sore fingers from all of the personal notes, but we will crush the $125K. 

Regardless, I can’t thank all of you enough for putting FoxxVault on the map.

A VERY PIVOTAL STRETCH GOAL - UPDATE #6

FoxxVault Backers -

 

Brett here again. I must say this day has been supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!  

I’m not really sure what that word even means, but it must be good. Right? Plus, I’ve always wanted to use it. And why not… you’ve all helped us hit our goal!  Incidentally, only 1% of 1% of first-time Kickstarters actually hit their goal if it is over $95,000. So, to say that the team and I are very thankful is a huge understatement. We owe you a lot. Of course, the very least of which is your FoxxVaults.  

Inasmuch, I’m very pleased to let you know that Mike Koclanes didn’t miss a beat and pulled the trigger today with our manufacturer, ordered our long lead-time parts, and put in a bid in for our carbon steel stock. Which means, we are very hopeful that we might be able to ship final products by late April 2018. Of course, we don’t want to over promise and under deliver, so we are still committing to June 2018.  

As committed, we also put together a very special Stretch Goal. We partnered with a fellow Kickstarter backed company, Keyport. This company not only has some really great products, they also have some really great people. Josh, Dave, and Amy were able to put together a very generous offer for us - which has enabled us to give all of you Backers who ordered a FoxxVault a Free Keyport Pivot if and when we hit our Stretch Goal of $125K.  These things are just too perfect for your FoxxVault!

 

 

 

We will be able to deliver your Pivot in time to put under the tree or stuff in a stocking. They will arrive with your Fuzzy Foxx Balls, a very nice FoxxVault pamphlet, and a signed message from the team. So, if you plan on giving FoxxVault for a gift, the recipient will have something to open that is sure to put a holiday smile on their face. 

I realize we only have 4 Days to hit our target… but I’m confident that if we all give it our best, we have a real shot!
